How did you bag Ragini MMS Returns?
I was called for an audition by Mukesh Chhabra and I auditioned for it and I got the role. I didn’t believe that I had got the role. It is such a big role. The first film had Rajkummar Rao, the second was Sunny Leone and now me. I feel overwhelmed doing this role.
What did you feel when found out that you bagged the role?
I am very excited – super-duper excited. Anyone who is in my place right now will be on seventh heaven. It is such a big role and an opportunity. The role has already given me so much fame and people are talking about it. I am very happy to be a part of it.
Tell us about your character in Ragini MMS Returns.
Ragini is a very brave girl. She is very independent and not scared of anything. She is the one fighting the ghosts. She stands up for her friends and fights against the ghosts. She is a bit biased towards girls. She believes if a guy can do it, why can’t I do it?
How comfortable where you shooting the bold scenes?
I was confident while doing the so called bold scenes. We had discussed the scenes before. It wasn’t like I got a rude shock when I came to the sets. I wasn’t uncomfortable – at all. I know I am sexy. So, why would I not be confident about acting in bold roles or posing for the kind of photo shoots that I did?
How did you prepare for the role?
Shooting for Ragini MMS Returns was a whole new experience. I have been part of horror shows earlier, but they were only two days shoots. For Ragini MMS Returns, I did a workshop for around a month. I had to do a bit of research on how Ragini is and how she’d react to incidents.
What other Bollywood horror director would you like to work with?
I would like to work with Vikram Bhatt on a horror project. I like 1920.
