Whenever I think that sci-fi and fantasy doesn’t have anything left to try, they come up with a new idea that revives my interest in this genre. Well Go USA has announced its newest sci-fi/fantasy film The Endless. The synopsis of this fantasy film rather interested me and I am sure the buzz for this will be… endless (bear with me, it’s a lazy Sunday). So, here’s the synopsis:
Writer/directors Moorhead and Benson star as brothers who receive a mysterious message inspiring them to pay a visit to the cult they escaped as children. As unsettling events and phenomena begin to occur, the brothers are forced to question whether the cult’s supernatural beliefs might not be entirely made up – and if, now that they’ve returned, they’ll be allowed to leave again.
The cast comprises of Justin Benson, Aaron Moorhead, Callie Hernandez, Emily Montague, Lew Temple, Tate Ellington, James Jordan. Other details of this film are awaited.
The Endless is the brainchild of writer-director Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead, who earlier gave us Spring in 2014. That film got a lot of positive reviews. It starred Lou Taylor Pucci and Nadia Haliker. Also, sci-fi great Guillermo Del Toro had this to say about the film:
Just in case I wasn't clear: Spring is one of the best horror films of this decade. And the only Lovecraftian film that has blown me away.

I am woke about The Endless now.
